Eskild: Thanks! I’m the one who’ve chosen our outfits tonight. I’ve been at Grønland and done some shopping.

Sana: Aha..! ..Hijab and everything.

Eskild: Hijab and everything. And I brought a gift, or, I’ve bought a gift for the hostess, and it’s two börek I bought at the Turkish place, in a nice box.

Sana: That’s so nice of you!

Eskild: You can put it on the table, for the guests.

Sana: Thank you.

Eskild: And I didn’t find an Eid Mubarak card, but I got a Merry Christmas one because it’s like the same.

Sana: Thank you so much.

Eskild: And you look really nice too-

Sana: Thanks!

Eskild: Much nicer than-..and you too, even though you didn’t dress up. In your way…because you haven’t chosen..original outfits. But you look very nice. I’m more, like, culture. Or, we’re more like culture. Are you gonna say anything..?

Well, I’m really fucking sad right now. Or I mean….grateful, and full of love for this wonderful show, its creators, actors, and legacy. But it literally feels like my heart is breaking a little bit.

I’ve stared at the #ThankYouSKAM hashtag on Twitter for the last fifteen minutes, trying to come up with something to say, but everything just sounds so…flat. Like I can’t convey my thanks in writing because I find no words that can properly express what I’m feeling for this show.

You know?

I bet a lot of you feel the same.

Eskild: You know that Noora loves us very much, right? And…even if we’re not such big fans of William, she is…Noora is much better than him, but she has to live her own life, right? And I just think that we should be really good friends for her and support her no matter what. 

(Linn looks sad)

Eskild: And I think that um…even though she doesn’t always show it, she loves us very much and wants us to be happy. And we will be happy. 

(Linn looks uncertain)

Eskild: And you know why? Because we have each other. And I’ll take care of you. And you’ll take care of me.
